            D.        Process for SCC Input to SID, Curriculum & Financials

In the past, Uka had four focus groups.  Due to the Supt’s new strategic plan, it would be advantageous to consolidate the four groups into three since the report template would be in the three areas.  There needs to be sharing of the Action Plan with the Council.  The Council will have an opportunity to provide input and recommendations.  Input and recommendations would then be taken back to the focus groups.  Council members are invited to participate in the focus groups which are normally held on Wednesdays from 2:00 – 3:300pm.  SCC members will bring comments on the process to the August 29 meeting.
